General Terms and Conditions of e-Voucher

Effective date: from August 15, 2025

When Customer chooses to check the box “I accept the Terms and Conditions” during your registration to accept receiving the e-Voucher (or E-voucher), this means that Customer accepts and agrees on all terms and conditions as stated below. Customer is required to carefully read this Terms and Conditions before acceptance of the e-Voucher!

1. General

1.1. The price of e-Voucher is the maximum value that can pay for all transactions according to the applicable conditions of each e-Voucher type.

1.2. In case of redeeming an e-Voucher where its currency is different from the currency of service or product, the value of e-Voucher will be converted to currency of product or services subject to the system exchange rate at the time of payment. Once payment is completed, any remaining value of e-Voucher, if any and if allowed subject to type of e-Voucher, will be recorded and converted back to currency of e-Voucher.

1.3. Validity of e-Voucher is a period of time where the booking and/or payment by e-Voucher is accepted subject to the conditions of application of the e-Voucher type.

1.4. e-Voucher may only be used by the legal owner or eligible beneficiary, subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the e-Voucher.

1.5. The owner or beneficiary of e-Voucher is responsible for keeping confidentiality of the e-Voucher, and for using it in accordance with the terms and conditions of the e-Voucher type.

1.6. e-Voucher is not allowed to be exchanged for cash in any circumstances.

1.7. e-Voucher once used cannot be refunded or restored the value.

1.8. e-Voucher validity is not allowed to be extended or changed.

1.9. Nominated e-Voucher is an e-Voucher which can only be used by the beneficiary whose full name (family name, middle and given names) match exactly with the names recorded in the e-Voucher, and such e-Voucher can not be renamed or transferred to another person in any circumstances.

1.10. In case where the beneficiary of a nominated e-Voucher and another person are together listed in one transaction of purchasing product or services paid by nominated e-Voucher, the beneficiary name may be required to be registered as primary customer in such transaction.

1.11. Anonymous e-Voucher is an e-Voucher which can be used by any person who is legally beneficing of such e-Voucher.

1.12. Depending on the e-Voucher type, payment eligibility by an e-Voucher is limited. For example, an e-Voucher is eligible to pay for the base fare only, or for both base fare and taxes.

1.13. One time-use e-Voucher is an e-Voucher that can only be used once for payment during the validity period of that e-Voucher. The remaining amount (if any) will automatically be forfeited after first use.

1.14. Multiple-use e-Voucher is an e-Voucher that can be used multiple times subject to its balance and eligibility to make payments within the validity. The remaining amount (if any) after each payment transaction will be recorded and retained until the e-Voucher expires. The remaining balance of e-Voucher (if any) will automatically be forfeited after expiry date.

1.15. An e-Voucher can be used as a partial payment in combination with other eligible forms of payment accepted by Vietjet and/or its partners.

1.16. At any time, Vietjet reserves the right to check, verify the validity of an e-Voucher. Abuse or misuse of an e-Voucher  (for example, the e-Voucher is used by a person other than the eligible registered beneficiary) may result in cancellation of e-Voucher or revoking product or service paid by such e-Voucher.

1.17. Each type of e-Voucher may have different terms and condition of use and application as per articulated in our website at evoucher.vietjetair.com.

2. Rights and obligations of the parties

2.1. When purchasing or receiving e-Voucher, it is required customer to provide accurate and valid personal information as requested by Vietjet. Beneficiary and/or owner of e-Voucher is solely responsible for keeping e-Voucher details, as well as e-Voucher account information safe and confidential.

2.2. Vietjet reserves the right to amend or modify this Terms and Conditions at any time. All amendments and modifications (if any) will always be updated into the Terms and Conditions published on our website evoucher.vietjetair.com for reference. In case where customer may not agree with the modifications or amendments, the e-Voucher which were issued before such change will be subject to the Terms and Conditions applicable to the e-Voucher issued to customer. 

2.3. At any time, Vietjet reserves the right to check the eligibility of an e-Voucher to ensure that the use of such e-Voucher is subject to and in accordance with the applicable Terms and Conditions of e-Vocuher. 

2.4. At any time, Vietjet reserves the right to cancel an e-Voucher which was issued if it is justified that the owner or beneficiary of the e-Voucher disobeys the applicable terms and conditions or the e-Voucher is no longer valid.

2.5. The owner or beneficiary of e-Voucher (either nominated or anonymous) must promptly notify Vietjet of any unauthorized use of the e-Voucher.

2.6. The owner and/or beneficiary of e-Voucher commits and agrees to not use e-Voucher and e-Voucher related product or services provided by Vietjet for illegal, unreasonable, fraudulent purposes including threatening, illegal exploration of information, sabotage, creating or spreading viruses that damage or change the system configuration, creating fake orders, using any tool or means to interfere the system or website or database, which may harm the Vietjet business. In case of violation, the owner of e-Voucher will bear full responsibility and legal duty set out under the law for any damage caused by their offspring.

2.7. Without Vietjet's consent in writing, the owner and/or beneficiary of e-Voucher commits and agrees to not change, modify, combine, copy, use the e-Voucher and its information for any purposes outside the purpose and application of the e-Voucher.

2.8. The owner and/or beneficiary of e-Voucher commits to not carry out any actions damaging or discrediting Vietjet in any circumstances.

2.9. In case of force majeure as prescribed and set out under and subject to the Vietjet Conditions of Carriage, products and services paid by e-Vouchers may not be provided, or may be canceled by Vietjet or its business partners.

2.10. Vietjet will not be responsible and liable for the e-Voucher which has been used.

3. e-Voucher account

3.1. e-Voucher account makes it easy for customer to receive, manage and use all e-Vouchers issued by Vietjet, including purchased e-Voucher and award e-Voucher.

3.2. To enjoy the benefits of e-Voucher account, customer needs to register with Vietjet by using correct full names, email address and phone number. Once the e-Voucher account is activated, it is required customer to accurately fulfil additional information including date of birth, details of passport or personal identification document, address and contact details.

3.3. To ensure the rights and benefits for customer, we do not allow any changes to personal information including full name, email address, phone number once registered in the e-Voucher account.

3.4. It is required customer to make sure that the receiving email must match the email address registered in the e-Voucher account, in order for the e-Voucher to be delivered to the correct email address.

3.5. To receive an award e-Voucher, customer needs to ensure registering and activating the e-Voucher account with all required information completed. Depending on each award e-Voucher campaign, we may require customer to provide personal information including email address, full name, phone number, date of birth, details of personal identification document, flight reservation reference, passenger name and email address as recorded in the flight reservation reference, etc.) to verify and justify eligibility of receiving award e-Voucher. The verification process is fully automatic. If the information is verified and validated, the award e-Voucher will be immediately issued and stored in the e-Voucher account, also the e-Voucher details will be sent to customer’s email address.

5. Responsibility

5.1. Apart from the provisions and regulations clearly stated in these Terms and Conditions, Vietjet shall not be liable for any losses, expenses or damages whether directly or indirectly caused to the e-Voucher beneficiary or owner from the use of e-Voucher.

5.2. Vietjet shall not be responsible or liable for loss or misdelivery of e-Voucher or of information sent by us via email if the email address provided by customer is incorrect.

5.3. In any circumstances, Vietjet's legal obligations and liability will not exceed the value of the e-Voucher, and Vietjet shall not be liable for any damages and consequences caused to the beneficiary or owner of the e-Voucher.

5.4. Vietjet ensure that viruses (or other programs with adverse effects) are not present on the official websites published by Vietjet. Vietjet is not responsible for any viruses or other malicious code that the e-Voucher beneficiary or owner may receive from using Vietjet’s non-official websites.

6. Copyrights and trademarks

6.1. Vietjet owns and reserves legal rights to all materials in this website. All copyrights and other intellectual properties are registered. Beneficiaries or owners of e-Voucher may only download those documents into local drive of a computer for viewing purposes and printing out some pages of this website for personal use. The e-Voucher beneficiary or owner may not modify, copy, distribute, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.

6.2. All trademarks, product names, company names and logos appearing on this website are the property of their respective owners.

7. Other terms

7.1. The beneficiary or owner of the e-Voucher agrees that no joint venture, partnership, employment relationship or agency relationship exists between the beneficiary and the owner of the e-Voucher and Vietjet derived from this Terms and Conditions or from the using of this website.

7.2. All contents of this clause shall be governed and construed only in accordance with the Laws of Vietnam.
